Home Jordan News Moderate weather forecast for 3 days 09-09-2019 05:42 AM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail Monday in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief. Low-altitudes clouds are also expected with moderate to brisk northwesterly winds, the JMD added. Daytime temperatures today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 30 degrees Celsius, and in the southern cities 26 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 18, 19 and 16 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 39 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 25 degrees at night. A slight rise in mercury levels will prevail on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the weather will stay moderate in the highlands and the plains, and hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds.
