Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Acting chairman of the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) Faridon Hartouqa Sunday held a meeting with Director General of the China-Arab States Technology and Culture Transfer Center Xing Ji Guo and a consultative delegation representing 14 Chinese companies from the sectors of agriculture, technology, transportation and health.

Hartouqa highlighted the investment and economic reformative opportunities in the Kingdom that contributed to finding an environment for investment, stressing that Jordan welcomes the Chinese companies and that Jordanian legislations provide a good environment for investment.

He said that Jordan can provide for the interested Chinese companies a gateway due to the trade agreements that the Jordan is a signatory to with many Arab and foreign countries, primarily the U.S., Canada and Europe. These agreements will allow the Chinese companies that want to invest in Jordan the accessibility to more than 1 billion consumers around the world, in addition to Jordan's strategic position with regard to rebuilding projects in the region.
