Relatively hot weather forecast over weekend

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday, bringing relatively hot weather until Friday in many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be hot in the Badia regions, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.

At night, moderate conditions will prevail in many regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with northwesterly moderate winds .

Daytime temperatures expected for today will hover around 34 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern cities, dropping down at night to 24 degrees. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 43 degrees and lows sliding to 29, the JMD added.

On Saturday, mercury levels will few degrees, becoming around their annual average. Therefore, normal summer conditions will prevail in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD further said.
