The proposed amendments deal with issues related to university governance, control of the teaching process and the facilitation of boards of trustees and higher education functions. One of the proposed amendments is canceling out-of-campus teaching and liaison offices, mechanisms to terminate services of chairmen and board members, and a mechanism for dealing with faculty members who are over 70 years of age.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, on Monday endorsed an amended draft laws on education and scientific research and Jordanian universities law for the year 2019.

The proposed amendments deal with issues related to university governance, control of the teaching process and the facilitation of boards of trustees and higher education functions.

One of the proposed amendments is canceling out-of-campus teaching and liaison offices, mechanisms to terminate services of chairmen and board members, and a mechanism for dealing with faculty members who are over 70 years of age.
