She said that addressing the problem of unemployment will take years and that tackling the issue necessitates a different approach and collective effort by the various ministries and institutions to respond to the demands of the unemployed, especially among the youth. She stressed during a meeting with chief editors of news websites that job-creation is on top of the government's agenda and list of priorities of 2019-2020. The minister said that the government's new unemployment approach focuses on diagnosing the problems and suggesting solutions in partnership with the private sector.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The government is working in line with a new approach that seeks to entrench the principle of self-reliance, Minister of State for Media Affairs Jumana Ghunaimat said on Tuesday.
