The meeting discussed efforts exerted by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) in upholding peace and security in the country. Safadi stressed Jordan's unwavering supportive position towards Iraq in its reconstruction efforts and cementing after defeating terrorist groups. The two sides highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Kingdom and the UN agency.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minster of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, on Monday met in Amman with Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert.

The meeting discussed efforts exerted by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) in upholding peace and security in the country.
