AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, said on Thursday that King Abdullah II's speech during his visit to Zarqa governorate on Jerusalem when he said "my position on Jerusalem is unwavering" is a reminder of the Karama Battle anniversary that we celebrate today.

"We are telling His Majesty, your government and your people that all unwaveringly support your stance," he said, adding "this is our true national unity".

The premier made the remarks as he launched several online applications of the Ministry of Justice, noting the Karama Battle anniversary reflects a Jordanian "modus vivendi."

On this Jordanian case, he said the Kingdom has lost in the past year 27 martyrs of the armed forces and security services agencies, who sacrificed their blood and lives in defense of the homeland.

Razzaz paid tribute to the mothers on the occasion of Mother's Day, and especially to those of the martyrs, who entrenched the values of morality and citizenship in their sons.

On the e-services applications launched by the Ministry of Justice today, Razzaz said the justice institutions begin with legislation, laws and regulations, but this alone does not guarantee the access of justice to its seekers, but through serious institutional work to deliver services to citizens and give them the right and dignity of access to justice, adding this is what distinguishes successful countries from the failing ones.

"We are taking a very important step toward realization of justice and to make the citizen feel that he/she has access to it," Razzaz said.

Highlighting the importance of eservices applications, launched by the Ministry of Justice today, he said around 300 thousand citizens a year were lining up to obtain a certificate of non-conviction, and now this process has become accessible through e-applications, adding this is a part of the renaissance plan and a pivotal axis of the state of law, production and solidarity.

On pledges, the premier stressed the government's commitment to implement all the promises made since the beginning of its formation and thanked partners in the completion of this project and other enterprises aimed at achieving transparency, and accountability to achieve what the citizen aspires to and to what the King always instructs us to preserve the dignity of the Jordanian citizen, which is the focus of our work and our goal.

The electronic services launched by the Ministry of Justice today are part of efforts to streamline procedures, improve the level of services offered to citizens and all those who deal with the ministry, in a bid to promote the principle of the rule of law and access to justice.

Under this project, the first e-services package offered by the Ministry of Justice was launched, which was developed in partnership with the Rule of Law project funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and will clearly contribute to help the service recipients and speed up the litigation process.
