CDD urges public to stay away from flooding areas

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Civil Defense Department (CDD) on Tuesday called on citizens to exercise caution and vigilance during the upcoming weather condition forecast for today, to stay away from valley runoffs, and to move from low-altitude areas to safer places.

In a statement, the CDD urged citizens to take extra precautions and never to cross the roads either on foot or by driving when the water levels become high.

The public are also advised to provide appropriate ventilation to houses while using heaters and not to switch them off while sleeping, the CDD said, urging the public to consider safety tips when using all types of heaters .
