Therefore, cold and partly cloudy conditions will prevail on Sunday with a chance for scattered rain in the northern, central and southern parts of the country, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD). Winds will be westerly moderate to brisk at times in the northern regions, the JMD said. Similar weather will continue to prevail on Monday with a continued chance for scattered rain the during morning hours, especially in the northern areas, while winds will be southwesterly moderate changing to southeasterly, the JMD added. A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but it will remain cold in most regions and fair in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with low clouds and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds changing to westerly moderate, the department noted. Temperatures for today in Amman will range between a high of 10 degrees and a low of 7 degrees while daytime temperatures in the port city of Aqaba will register a high of 22 degrees dropping down to 11 degrees at night.
