Royal efforts leads to repatriate fugitive Awni Mutee

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Following orders of His Majesty King Abdullah and his diligent follow-up, the government and security agencies managed to repatriate the main suspect in the "tobacco case" Awni Mutee, through continuing monitoring, communication and coordination with concerned Turkish authorities.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Jumana Ghunaimat said after considerable efforts and continuous and diligent follow-up over several months, all concerned parties were able to locate and arrest the accused with the cooperation of competent Turkish authorities.

Ghunaimat underlined that these efforts came in implementation of royal directives and the strong will to consolidate the rule of law, achieve justice for all, and uprooting corruption.
