Clouds at different altitudes are also forecast with south to southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added. Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 30 degrees Celsius, in the northern cities 29 degrees Celsius, and in the southern cities 27 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 19, 20 and 15 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 36 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 25 degrees at night. On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will stay moderate in most parts of the country and hot in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, with a slight chance for scattered showers in the central and southern regions.
