Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel foiled a drug smuggling attempt and arrested three suspects in possession of 280,000 narcotic pills.

A source at the Public Security Department said in a statement on Monday that the AND received information about three people preparing to smuggle a large quantity of narcotic pills into a neighboring country by hiding them in a vehicle.

After following up the information, the AND personnel seized the vehicle and arrested three suspects," the source said, adding that 280,000 narcotic pills were found after searching the vehicle.
