Rood, and Commander of United States Central Command, Gen. Joseph Votel, to discuss bilateral relations and developments in the region. In the meeting they discussed improving cooperation between the two countries, specifically in military and defense fields, in addition to reviewing regional and international efforts in the war on terror, within a holistic approach. The Middle East crisis was also touched upon, and efforts to come up with solutions that restore stability and security to its people.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday received United States Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, John C. Rood, and Commander of United States Central Command, Gen. Joseph Votel, to discuss bilateral relations and developments in the region.

In the meeting they discussed improving cooperation between the two countries, specifically in military and defense fields, in addition to reviewing regional and international efforts in the war on terror, within a holistic approach.
