Moderate conditions expected for three days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in mercury levels is expected over the next two days, becoming around their seasonal average and creating moderate conditions in Amman and the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.

Low and medium altitude clouds are also forecast with a weak chance of isolated showers in the northern and central areas, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk at times, stirring dust mainly in the desert areas, the JMD added.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital, the northern and the southern cities will hover around 30 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 21, 20 and 16 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 25, the JMD stated.

Similar moderate conditions will continue to prevail on Wednesday with westerly moderate to brisk winds, the department noted.
