Iraqi ambassador: More that 18,000 Iraqis study in Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -Iraqi Ambassador to Amman Safia al-Suhail said that more than 18,000 Iraqi students are receiving their education at various levels in Jordan, pointing out that the scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries is deeply-rooted.

During a ceremony organized by the Iraqi Embassy on Thursday to honor researcher form the University of Jordan Hanan Ata Shamlawi for winning an award from "Bahruloom Institute", the ambassador said that more than 100,000 Jordanians graduated from Iraqi universities, some of whom assumed senior positions, adding that there are also Iraqi students who graduated from Jordanian universities and assumed senior positions.

The ambassador said that the award comes within the framework of boosting relations between Jordan and Iraq in various fields, pointing to the distinguished political relations between the two countries.
