14 cruise ships dock in Aqaba during April

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - About 14 cruise ship carrying thousands of European tourists will dock at the port of Aqaba during the month of April, including three that already arrived in the past two days, according to an official from the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).

Tourism and economic affairs commissioner at the ASEZA Sharhabeel Madi, told Petra that tourism indicators have doubled by 200% compared to last year, due to the organized tourism promotion carried out by the authority, as well as the security and stability that Jordan enjoys.

Al Madi highlighted the tourist product of the Kingdom’s golden triangle of tourism; Aqaba, Petra and Wadi Rum.

Aqaba witnesses an increase in the number of Arab and European tourists, mainly in the month of April of each year, he noted.
