Scattered showers are also forecast in the southern parts of the country, with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds. Daytime temperature expected today in Amman, the northern and the southern cities will hover around 25 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 13,15 and 12 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 33 degrees and lows standing at 21, the JMD stated. Similar warm conditions are expected over the weekend in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the JMD added.
