Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Strong rumors are swirling around in European media circles about Neymar and his discomfort at staying on with the French club PSG. Apparently, the Brazilian star is regretting his much trumpeted move to the Paris club from Barcelona.

For Neymar, his club’s ouster from the last 16 of the Champions League will provide the opening for such a move, according to reports.

According to ABC, an Iberian daily, Neymar does not want to return to the French capital and has even asked his father to discuss with the president of Paris Saint-Germain Nasser al-Khelaïfi about his departure.

Neymar would rather return to his old club, than to Real Madrid which is also very keen to have him at whatever the cost. The Real coach Zinedine Zidane has been recently praising Neymar’s skills and his prospects in his club.

Others set to follow
With his pride dented following the European Cup elimination and the whistles from the stands, and if Neymar leaves, others are set to follow: Dani Alves, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos are also lined up to quit at the departure of their friend.

The Neymar issue is more important than ever and a major source of vexation for Doha, being their prized player.

Keeping the Brazilian star in Paris is a matter of prestige and Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani had got personally involved.

According to information from Mundo Deportivo, the latter has sent a precise and firm instructions to the PSG chief al-Khelaïfi: keep Neymar at all costs!

At Doha, as the project of the Parisian club for the next season comes up, everything is considered except a departure from Neymar this summer.

While Real Madrid is keen to get back the Brazilian jewel to Spain, the Qatari emir will not brook a departure before at least 2019.

For al-Thani, Neymar is the trump card to demonstrate the power of his state to the rest of the world. Faced with such pressure, will Nasser al-Khelaïfi now has the difficult task to convince an extremely reluctant Neymar to stay on for a year more at PSG?
