Rise in temperatures expected over next two days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday, but it remains relatively cold in hilly areas and warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low clouds and north westerly moderate winds, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Light rain is also expected in the northern and central regions as well as parts of the eastern region, the JMD added.

Temperatures will further rise on Sunday, but still, the weather will continue to be cold in hilly areas and warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with a slight chance for light rain in the northern regions.

A in temperatures is expected on Monday and the weather will be cloudy with scattered rain in various parts of the Kingdom.

Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 16 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 25 degrees dropping down to 15 degrees at night.
