In a statement on Thursday, the commission condemned the Israeli occupation authorities for starting the implementation of a plan to construct a pedestrian bridge in the town of Silwan south of Al Aqsa Mosque. Secretary General of the commission Hanna Issa urged the international community to pay attention to the dangerous situation in the occupied city of Jerusalem, mainly in Al Aqsa Mosque. He said the recent excavation works in Silwan and under Al Aqsa Mosque are part of a bigger and a more comprehensive scheme to establish "Greater Jerusalem".

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Islamic-Christian Commission in Support of Jerusalem and holy sites warned of the continued Israeli schemes to Judaize the occupied city of Jerusalem and change the Arab identity of the city.

In a statement on Thursday, the commission condemned the Israeli occupation authorities for starting the implementation of a plan to construct a pedestrian bridge in the town of Silwan south of Al Aqsa Mosque.
