US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has sparked protests in the region. Mogherini said the Oslo Accords of 1993 and 1995 remained the objective. The agreements started a process aimed at achieving a peace treaty and fulfilling the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination. The “only realistic solution is based on two states with Jerusalem as the capital of both states,” she said. The peace process has been languishing since 2014. *RT
