Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi Monday met with President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), David Miliband, on Jordan's efforts to address the repercussions of the Syrian refugee crisis and meet their needs.

Safadi underlined the importance of the IRC's efforts to assist the Syrian refugee and host communities in the fields of health, education and humanitarian aid, especially those provided to children and women.

IRC President lauded the Kingdom's efforts in hosting and assisting Syrian refugees.

Both officials stressed the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination to provide assistance to Syrian refugees.
