AMMONNEWS - Fair autumn weather is expected in the hilly areas, while it will be moderate in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Clouds are expected to hover at low altitudes in the mountainous areas at night, bringing cool weather conditions in the desert region and moderate conditions in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

On Saturday, a slight rise in temperatures is predicted, but the weather will remain fair in the hilly areas and moderate in other regions with northwesterly moderate winds, said the JMD.

Another rise in mercury levels is expected on Sunday making the weather fair in the hilly areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, it added.

Temperatures in Amman for the next three days will range between a high of 26 degrees Celsius and a low of 15 degrees, while mercury levels in the northern regions will register a high of 24 degrees Celsius dropping down to 14 degrees. In Aqaba, daytime temperatures will be 33 degrees Celsius, sliding to 23 degrees at night.
