Autumn conditions forecast over weekend

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, but still standing at their upper twenties in most areas and bringing moderate conditions in much parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said in its daily brief.

Mercury levels will further over the next two days, but similar autumn conditions will continue to prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the JMD said.

Clouds are also expected to build up during the afternoon and evening hours, bringing partly cloudy skies with northwesterly winds blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions.

Temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the northern areas will hover around 26 degrees Celsius dropping down to 15 at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 35 degrees sliding to 23 at night, the JMD explained.
