IEC sends Gov't results of municipal, decentralization elections

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Independent Election Commission (IEC) Sunday sent the results of the municipal and decentralization elections to the government for their publication in the official gazette.

IEC Spokesperson Jihad Momani, said any voter has the right to contest the result with the Court of Appeal within 15 days from the date of publication of the results in the official gazette, detailing the reasons of the objection according to Article 32 of the Decentralisation Law.

The IEC announced the results of the municipal and decentralization elections in a press conference on Wednesday.
