King telephones Egyptian president

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday, telephoned Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi offering condolences over the loss of life in the recent train crash near the Egyptian port city of Alexandria.

During the telephone conversation, His Majesty thanked Al Sisi for the cooperation of the Egyptian authorities that led to the release of fans of Jordan’s Al-Faisaly football team, who were detained after the Arab Clubs Championship's final match that was held in Egypt.

The King affirmed that football hooliganism is rejected.

His Majesty and the Egyptian president also discussed the latest regional developments, mainly the Palestinian issue.
