Royal Court Chief conveys King's condolences to victim of Israeli embassy incident

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, on Wednesday, visited the home of Mohammad Zakaria al-Jawawdeh, who was killed in a shooting incident at the Israeli embassy on Sunday.

Tarawneh conveyed His Majesty's condolences to the al-Jawawdeh's family and said King Abdullah is following up on the incident.

He added that the government, upon the King's instructions, will follow up on this case, in accordance with international laws and diplomatic norms to ensure justice.

The Royal Court Chief emphasized that Jordan considers the incident a "crime", denying that it was dealt with as part of a deal related to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which His Majesty the King, the government and all the country's bodies are keen to preserve without compromising the rights of the deceased.
