Heatwave begins to ease off today

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The heatwave that affected the country over the past three days is expected to gradually subside on Thursday, with mercury levels will slightly reaching a high of 34 degrees Celsius in Amman and jumping to 41 degrees during day time.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), relatively hot conditions will prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be hot in other parts of the country. Temperatures will cool down at night dropping to 24 degrees Celsius in Amman and sliding to 26 in Aqaba.

Similar weather conditions will continue over the next two days with high clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
