According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 40 degrees sliding to 23 degrees at night, the JMD added. Temperatures are expected to rise on Monday and Tuesday, creating relatively hot conditions in mountainous areas, the plains and the Badia region, while bringing hot weather in other parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD added.
