A rise in mercury levels is expected on Monday, becoming 3-4 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be relatively hot in mountainous areas, the plains and the Badia and hot in other regions. Winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD said. Temperatures in Amman for today will rang between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 16 degrees at night. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will rise to 38 degrees sliding to 25 degrees at night, the JMD added.
