Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez Thursday met with head of Young Global Leaders Forum, Jacob Garcia and discussed with him challenges facing youth, and the importance of finding ways that protect them so that youth are not left alone to become a prey of terrorism and extremism.

Al-Fayez said that giving the chance for youth to be part of the decision-making process will enhance their role, and enable them to face destructive ideas.

He added that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, attaches great importance to the role of youth and backs the need to enhance youth participation in national responsibility.

Garcia for his part, said that the Forum aims at opening dialogue among youth, and helping them grapple with problems facing this key sector, in order to be more effective in their communities.
