Nazih Ammarin, vice president of the IEC, said the meeting was in preparation for the municipal and local elections to be held on August 15. Ammarin added that voting will be carried out through three ballot boxes and three papers in different colours; the first for the governorate council members, the second for the municipal council members and the third for the mayor.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Independent Election Commission (IEC) discussed the municipal and local elections with civil society institutions in Southern Ghor, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.

Nazih Ammarin, vice president of the IEC, said the meeting was in preparation for the municipal and local elections to be held on August 15.

Ammarin added that voting will be carried out through three ballot boxes and three papers in different colours; the first for the governorate council members, the second for the municipal council members and the third for the mayor.
