Death toll of Jordanian pilgrims in road accident climbs to 5

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Another Jordanian pilgrim was announced dead Saturday evening, rising the number of deaths in the tragic bus accident took place in Tabuk, Suadi Arabia last Friday to five, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Sabah Al Rafie, said Sunday.

Four Jordanian pilgrims died and others were injured last Friday, in a traffic accident after their bus veered and overturned in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

The bodies of the four dead as well as two of the injured pilgrims were flown back home on Saturday evening, the spokesperson explained.

Rafie stressed that the Jordanian consulate in Jeddah is still in constant cooperation and coordination with the Saudi authorities to follow up on the injured people and provide them with all needed assistance.
