U.S. Embassy: We do not ask applicants for their social media account passwords

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The U.S. Embassy in Amman said that it does not ask visa applicants for their social media account passwords.

The embassy said in a statement on Saturday, that it was not aware of the local media reports concerning visa application procedures.

"While consular officers worldwide occasionally ask visa applicants to provide additional information, we do not ask applicants for their social media account passwords," the statement added.
