Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Cabinet decided to exempt citizens from fees when issuing smart ID's that will replace the old civil ID cards.

According to the decision, these cards will be issued for free starting Saturday, March 18 until June 15 when the old ID's will be no longer valid.

These include health and social insurance, court records and other administrative measures.

The smart ID cards will initially contain basic information about citizens. They will later be used to replace the driving licences, health insurance and social security cards.
