Al-Safadi and Al-Othaimeen discussed mechanism the organization has laid out to help Muslim communities in Western countries. Al-Safadi noted His Majesty King Abdullah II's efforts to remove any stereotypes that some people try to associate with Islam. The meeting tackled the latest developments in the region, particularly Jerusalem, which Al-Safadi, remains a top Jordanian priority. The OIC secretary-general hailed Jordan's efforts, spearheaded by His Majesty the King, to serve Muslim causes and safeguard holy places.
