The DOS said the unemployment rate among males stood at 13.8 percent and 24.8 per cent among females in the same period. According to the DOS, the unemployment rate in the 4th quarter of 2016 signals a 2.2 per cent rise from the figure recorded in the same period of 2015.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The unemployment rate in Jordan reached 15.8 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2016, the Department of Statistics (DOS) reported Wednesday.

The DOS said the unemployment rate among males stood at 13.8 percent and 24.8 per cent among females in the same period.

According to the DOS, the unemployment rate in the 4th quarter of 2016 signals a 2.2 per cent rise from the figure recorded in the same period of 2015.
