MP explains altercation in Tuesday's session

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Lawmaker, Tareq Khoury, Wednesday said that his remarks were misinterpreted, as an insult to Arab Army, expressing his pride in the Kigdom's Armed Forces and security personnel, stressing at the same time that their sacrifices and duties are mostly appreciated and recognized.

Khoury said in a statement that speaking about the alliances in the region and their impact on the Kingdom, does not mean an insult to former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, or current President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

"Our national unity and loyalty to our leadership and security agencies has always been a model in the region," khoury said.
