Major General Hawatmeh highlighted the strong ties between the two countries, the foundations of which were laid by His Majesty King Abdullah II and Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz. He also stressed the need to enhance joint security cooperation as well as the exchange of training and expertise in the interest of both sides. The Saudi ambassador offered his condolences over the martyrdom of security personnel, and affirmed his country's support to Jordan in addressing various challenges.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Director General of the Gendarmeries Department, Major General Hussein Mohammad Hawatmeh on Thursday, discussed with Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Khaled Bin Faisal Bin Turki Al Saud, scopes of cooperation between the Gendarmerie Department and its Saudi counterpart.
