This came during the Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar Luaibi’s meeting with the Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ibrahim Saif, in Baghdad yesterday. The two ministers agreed to resume cooperation in the field of supplying Jordan with Iraqi crude oil after the security situation stabilises in the border provinces and to cooperate in the field of training and the exchange of experiences. Luaibi said Iraq and Jordan have historical ties, stressing that negotiations between the two countries has reached an advanced stage.
