FM takes part in Paris meeting on Mosul

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh, on Thursday, took part in a meeting for foreign ministers from several Western and Middle Eastern countries to discuss how to restore peace and stability to Mosul after liberating the city from the Daesh terrorist group.

The meeting, which was opened by French President Francois Hollande and attended by representatives of 20 countries, highlighted the importance of providing humanitarian aid to citizens of Mosul as well as protecting civilians.

In remarks during the meeting, Judeh stressed Jordan's full support to the Iraqi government in liberating the city as it would help in eliminating the terrorist group from Iraq and the region.

He also affirmed the importance of ensuring the safety and security of civilians as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid to citizens in the city.
