The meeting, which was opened by French President Francois Hollande and attended by representatives of 20 countries, highlighted the importance of providing humanitarian aid to citizens of Mosul as well as protecting civilians. In remarks during the meeting, Judeh stressed Jordan's full support to the Iraqi government in liberating the city as it would help in eliminating the terrorist group from Iraq and the region. He also affirmed the importance of ensuring the safety and security of civilians as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid to citizens in the city.
