Cabinet holds its first session after taking the oath of office

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The new Cabinet on Wednesday, held its first meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Hani Mulki, after his newly formed government was sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Mulki said the government has major plans in the coming stage and that programs of the previous government should be completed, noting that the government will seek the Lower House's confidence during the Parliament's ordinary session at the beginning of November.

He stressed the importance of participatory approach with the Parliament to serve the country and its citizens, adding that we should have credible plans to achieve our objectives in the easiest manner in order to serve citizens.

The prime minister pledged that his cabinet will work in a team spirit and take decisions through discussing objective policies.

The first mission of the Cabinet, he added, will be the form of the 2017 General Budget to ensure that it would achieve goals related to economic growth.
