58,000 people vote in first hour

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - More than 58,000 people across the Kingdom Tuesday morning casted their votes in 4883 ballot boxes during the first hour of opening polling stations, Independent Elections Commission (IEC) spokesperson Jihad Momani said.

The process of polling were delayed only three minutes in some stations for administrative reasons, he said adding that otherwise the process is going smoothly with no obstacles.

All polling stations across the Kingdom are opened for voters since 07:00am to elect the Kingdom's 18th Lower House of Parliament.
