Jordan, Egypt set to advance trade, transport ties

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Transport, Yahia al-Kesbi, on Saturday, said the Jordanian and Egyptian governments are working closely to advance trade exchange and facilitate freight and passenger movement through ports in both countries.

Al-Kesbi told a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Jalal Sa'id, and a representative of the Iraqi transport minister that they held talks focusing on transport and ways of upgrading cooperation in this domain.

The talks, he added, tackled means of increasing the two-way trade exchange through cutting the time freight check measures need.
