Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Arab leaders voiced full support of measures taken by Jordan to protect its national security following a terrorist attack against a border guards outpost on the Kingdom’s northeastern frontiers in June.
In their 27th summit currently held in Nouakchott in Mauritania, the Arab leaders demanded the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards the Syrian refugee crisis.
They thanked the Kingdom for its efforts in hosting and severing a massive number of Syrian refugees on its territory.
They also paid tribute to Jordan’s efforts and commitment towards protecting Jerusalem and its Muslim and Christian holy sites. In this context, they hailed His Majesty King Abdullah II’s efforts in defending the city’s identity and its holy shrines.
