10 thousands Jordanians went to Turkey during coup attempt

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - 10 thousands Jordanians were in Turkey and still , during the Military coup that happened in Turkey two days ago, traveled to Turkey at Eid and after according to statistics of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates from Jordan Society of Tourism and Travel Agencies.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sabah Al Raf'ee told Ammon that the Ministry contacted during the events with 2000 citizens there , making certain that everyone is unscathed.

She revealed about sending two planes bigger than usual by the Royal Jordanian yesterday, to bring the citizens back from Turkey, but they weren't got full. She pointed the Jordanian touristic programs to Turkey are as usual without affecting with events and political disorders due to the Military coup.

She pointed that Charge de Affairs of the Jordanian ambassador in Ankara was moved to Istanbul to follow up the Jordanian affairs where most are there.
