Top Jordanian mall signs up French, UK fashion brands

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Abdali Mall Company (AMC), a privately-owned land development company in Amman, Jordan, has reached a deal with leading fashion brands Tati and Matalan to open their outlets at its shopping mall, according to a report by Trade Arabia.

With a total built up area of over 227,000 sq m, Abdali Mall extends over five floors above ground level, offering more than 55,000 sq m of gross leasable space that houses international brands, distinguished chains of restaurants and cafes with a capacity of over 1000 visitors.

Located in the 'Abdali Project,' the mall is built with sustainable design, introducing new standards for integrated commercial buildings in the area.

The mall boasts of a nine-screen cinema, a spacious supermarket, and a family entertainment centre, in addition to five basement floors that can accommodate up to 2,400 cars.

Under the agreement, Tati, the well-known French brand, will take a 1,400 sq m store on the second floor, while the famous UK brand Matalan too will be on the same floor with a larger 2,000 sq m store.

Established in 1948 in Paris, Tati has grown into a major brand with over 140 stores featuring men's, women's and children's fashion and household accessories, all within affordable prices.

Matalan will offer shoppers a range of fashion products with a comprehensive selection of homewares, ladies', men's and children's clothing and footwear.

Marwan Abu Hassan, AMC's General Director, said: "We are pleased to announce the addition of these new tenants to the mall's family. Tati and Matalan will provide an unmatched shopping experience for all Abdali Mall visitors."
