Jordan refuses delivering a citizen to Danmark due to murder incriminatory

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordanian judiciary refuses extradition a Jordanian citizen to Denmark accused by murder and an International Red Bulletin was issued about him.
The Interpol administration sent a note to the magistrate requested to extradite a citizen to Denmark after an international red bulletin was issued about him.
Despite of lodging an appeal against delivering him by the Assistance Attorney General in Amman, the court insists to its decision about not delivering. The magistrate court issued a decision refuses delivering because there is no Convention on the exchange of criminals between Jordan and Danmark, and the Court of Appeals and cassation affirmed the verdict.
In a decision, Ammon gets a copy of, said that the state that requested to deliver is foreign and he has a Jordanian nationality, which requires having an agreement with Danmark that wants delivering, and it includes provisions of extradition criminals who are fugitives according to the article 2/21 of the Institution of Jordan and article 6,7,8 of Extradition Act.
The decision added that there is no convention between Jordan and Denmark for legal cooperation in the field of extradition fugitive criminals, so the decision of delivering refusal is in its position.
