Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications, Muhammad Momani, on Saturday, voiced the government's condemnation of Israel's violations against the Umayyad Palaces area to the south and southeast of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli authorities have recently set up metal and wooden platforms to expand the yards designated for Jewish prayers next to the mosque's Western Wall. The recent measure is part of the continued Israeli violations against Islamic sites and heritage in the occupied Jerusalem.

The Jordanian government continues to demand Israel to return the palaces to the jurisdiction of the Awqaf department in Jerusalem.
