Gulf-Jordanian Economic Communication Forum kicks off

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Gulf-Jordanian Economic Communication Forum kicked off on Thursday with the participation of more than 150 Gulf's investors and businessmen.
The forum, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, will discuss a number of themes including means of developing Gulf- Jordanian economic and trade relations, opportunities and challenges and the role of Arab and Gulf funds in supporting the small and medium enterprises.
The gathering, which is organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), will also focus on developing cooperation between Gulf youth and entrepreneurs and their Jordanian counterparts as well as boosting communication between businesswomen in both sides to establish mutual economic and trade partnership.
A number of Jordanian investment projects in various economic sectors will be launched during the forum, which represents a real opportunity to strengthen the level of cooperation and economic relations between the two sides.
Official figures indicate that the volume of the Gulf investments in Jordan is estimated at $ 40 billion in various sectors including, construction, sports services, packaging industry, plastics, cement, car services, medical supplies and others .
